Antique Dutch Mahogany Empire Quèridon Table. Bruxelles – Stamped CHAPUIS. SOLD


The original circular grey marble top above a plain mahogany frieze with three ebonised squares above the three columnar supports, joined with a tripartite stretcher. The three turned mounted mahoagany legs inlaid with an ebony arrow.
Stamped twice with CHAPUIS.
CHAPUIS Jean – Joseph.    1765 - 1864 Very important Maître Ebèniste furniture maker in Brussel. He started his workshop in 1798 in Rue de Borgval in Brussel. He worked a lot for the Palace.
