The moulded cornice with three ornaments decotated with scrolling leaves above two waved doors, opening to reveal an interior of three shelves and three drawers. The middle part with flat sliding shelf. On claw feet and the moulded frieze decorated with a Laurel Wreath.
These large corner buffets, about the same height as cabinets, were originally used as a kind of serving cabinet in the dining room. The shelves probably held glassware and silver objects and a cooler would have stood on the cupboard floor.
