Antique Dutch 19th Century Wooden Herring Barrel. SOLD
The oval cupped lidded herring barrel surrounded with the bands of each five willow twigs with a hinged flat lid. On both side a support ring on a heart shaped cartouche. On the front a silver plaque with a shaped herring. The back with a brass plaque.
