Original antique copper engraving with the map of Amsterdam in 1544. Hand coloured 
“Amsterdam, geconterfeyt door Cornelis Anthoniszoon, Schilder en uitghegeven in het jaer 1544.”  
Title in Dutch under the engraving.
The engraving shows Amsterdam in Birdseye –View after the famous painting by Cornelis Anthoniszn from 1536, nowadays shown in the Amsterdam Museum. Published as engraving first in 1544. It shows the old city between the Singel and Kloveniersburgwal.

Published circa 1760 in Amsterdam by Isaak Tirion, bookseller on the Kalverstraat near the Dam in Amsterdam.
