LEFT: The Frisian Delftware oval blue and white plaque with shaped body, within a raised border, painted with a maritime image of “Bomschuiten / Bommen” returning from catching  herring in the Waves Surf near the Beach upon a scrolled console.
Marked on the back in underglaze blue with the crossed TT for:
Koninklijke Tichelaar / Royal Makkum
MAKKUM - FRIESLAND in the Netherlands
