The French Directoire white marble ormolu mantel clock with circular white-enamelled dial with Arabian numerals and gilt five muinutes marking and date-numbers. Signed in blue with Harel A Paris and on the bottom the undersignature in black with Coteau (Emaileur = enamelmaker.) Surmounted by a vase hung with foliate and floral scroll and guirlands. Flanked by four white marble ormolu mounted columns surmounted with two patinated bronze sphinxs On a panelled stepped base with patinated bronze figures of Mars and Minerva. On spreading feet.
