Surrounded with finely animal foliate strapwork and medaillon decorated borders and and side. The inside and both sides of enclosed inner cover engraved with:
Niet Soeter Vint men Inden Trou Als Liefden tussen Man en Vrou -  Not sweeter one finds in faithfulness as love between man and woman.

(Daniel 13: 1 – 64    A fair Hebrew wife named Susanna was falsely accused by lecherous voyeurs. When she makes her way back to her house, they accost her, threatening to claim that she was meeting a young man in the garden unless she agrees to have sex with them.
