Antique Dutch Brass 18th Century Walking Lantern SOLD

The brass octagonal lantern, a square model with chamfered corners and the baluster shaped pierced dome with drop handle. Surrounded with eight brass cast finials. The lamp decorated with hammered floral and geo-metric motifs. The hinged door with a crowned Louis XVI cartouche and the inside with a mirror to reflect the light. In the centre the candleholder. With modern green glass. Standig on four round brass feet.
