De Porceleyne Fles Antieke Pijnacker Delft Doré Schenkkan - 1902. VERKOCHT


The large single-handled tin glazed FAIENCE jug decorated in red, blue, green and gold, in the “Adriaan van Pijnacker” tradition with flowering peonies and floral swags. Signed on the back in underglaze blue and red for:
DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL  DELFT
DELFT - HOLLAND &  X  = 1902
Painter’s initials: AK = Adrianus Koert   
Employment dates 1888-1914 & 1926-1947
Because this rare item is made in faience instead of earthenware you will find minor abrasions on the rim as with 18th century Delft items.
