The tin glazed earthenware single-handled spouted jug decorated in shades of blue with a windmill in a Dutch landscape in a cartouche and stylized flowers.
On the front the date Ao 1575 and ELB for:
ERVEN LUCAS BOLS   - AMSTERDAM
the oldest Genever distilled brand Erven (heirs) Lucas Bols in Amsterdam, established 1575 in Amsterdam.
Signed on the bottom in underglaze blue for:
DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT
DELFT  - HOLLAND  & AA  =  1905
Painter’s initials: VK = Antonius Johannes van Kampenhout
