Dutch Famille Noire Black Delft Hand Painted Plate - 1989

The small tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in colours on a black base with flowering plants and a bird of paradise. The back, except the center, also coloured in black!!! For the 325th Jubilee of Royal Delft in 1978 The Black Delft was new introduced. It was based on the “Famille Noire” that was already made in Delft in the late 17th century.
