Rare Dutch Blue & White Royal Delft Hand Painted Flowerpot / Jardiniere - 1941. SOLD

The oval tin glazed earthenware jardiniere with two scrolled ears decorated in shades of blue with flowering peonies.
Signed on the bottom in underglaze blue for:

DELFT - HOLLAND & BK  = 1941
Painter: VL = Theodorus A.B. van Lingen.
Employment dates: 28 March 1893 -1945

This item with these scrolled ears is noticed in the book Royal Delft a guide to the Porceleyne Fles by Rick Erickson on page 92 Fig. 09-03 as model Jardinière ovaal no. 3, VII 8. with another decoration of flowering peonies. This decoration is shown on page 95 Fig 09-16
