Rare Large Dutch Blue & White Royal Delft Hand Painted Lidded Jar - 1653 -1953. SOLD

The large tin glazed earthenware lidded jar decorated in shades of blue with a Dutch romantic river landscape in a cartouche surrounded with flowering peonies. The domed cover decorated en suite with flowering peonies and with a sitting lion, looking forward, as finial.
Signed on the bottom in underglaze blue for:
