A Friysian Delftware blue and white maritime plaque. The oval tin glazed earthenware plaque, within a raised marbled border, handpainted in shades of blue with a Dutch Far East tradeship, flaged with the Dutch flag in top and the yellow V.O.C. flag. (Far East Trade Company, established 1602 in Amsterdam.) Signed on the back in underglaze blue with:
