RARE VINTAGE DUTCH “ BLACK SCRATCH” BLACK DELFT HANDPAINTED TEAR BOTTLE - 1970
The earthenware miniature vase with ovoid body decorated in black , in the late 17th century “Famille Noir “ tradition,
with two flowering prunus branches in white using the short - used Black Scratch technique, which is far less common
than the later Black Delft from 1978.
Signed on the bottom in underglaze black for :

For the 325th Jubilee of Royal Delft in 1978 The black Delft was new introduced
It was based on the “Famille Noir” that was already made in in Delft in the late 17th century.
A black base decorated with several colour,the so called : The wondrous Black of Delft.
This is an earlier type using the short - lived “Black Scratch” technique., which is far less common.
