The tin glazed earthenware plate commemorating that the Dutch guilder was detached from the gold (standard) The coin 1 G (Gulden) surrounded with a laurel wreath and the text:
De gulden los van het goud.
Al heeft ook de Gulden in eervollen strijd
zijn gaafheid niet kunnen bewaren,
Zijn kracht is nog groot ,
en eendrachtig beleid
Zal Neerland er wel bij doen varen.
Sept. 1936.
Surrounded on the rim with stylized floral swags.
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
