Antique French Empire Bureau Armchair

A fine Empire carved mahogany fauteuil de bureau in the style of Jacob-Desmalter et Cie, the shaped gondola back terminating in finely carved lion heads, on curved supports, with a modern silk padded seat, the straight ormolu mounted seat-rail above shaped legs with lion paw feet.
