The center of the tin glazed earthenware farming plate decorated in shades of blue with two horses within his front a man with a plow in a Dutch farming landscape surrounded with the text:
IN DEN AANVANG IS DE DAAD
(In the beginning is the deed / doing.)
The rim decorated with stylized flowers and motifs. Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT
DELFT - HOLLAND  &  AW  = 1927
Two painters worked on this painting on clay.
