Rare Vintage Dutch Royal Delft Red Craquelé Charger - 1965. SOLD


The earthenware charger decorated in red with a crackled glaze. The technique was the result of glazing experiments by Wouter D. Oosterloo and the pieces use designs by Cornelius Hartog as abstract floral and animal or geometric patterns. Produced in small numbers between 1947 - 1967. This plate is decorated with two lizards surrounded by rotating panels with
abstract flowers.
Signed on the back in underglaze red for:
