Januari 31th 1661.  Van der Schilde & Pothuysen started de “pannenbakkerij” in  Utrecht on the “ Vaartse Rhine“ for the production of roof tiles. Later they also produce wall tiles & interior items. After 1945 they are bought by De Porceleyne Fles.( Royal Delft ) and in 1994 the factory moves to Delft, part of Royal Delft and than only production with transfer technique.
