Title in Dutch under the engraving.

From: Geschiedenis der Stad Amsterdam by Jan Wagenaar in 1760.

Published in Amsterdam  by Isaak Tirion, bookseller on the Kalverstraat  near the Dam in Amsterdam.

The engraving shows the Dam-square with the Townhall ( now Royal Palace) and on the right the New - Church, the Coronation Church. In front a part of the Old Waag, showing the coat of Arms of Amsterdam. On the place of the houses on the left is nowadays  Madame Tussauds.
